How we started

Having a lust for nice cars and being besotted with them since a young boy, it’s safe to say I was always going to work on or with motors.

I studied at Bridgwater and obtained a BTEC Diploma at college and with that moved swiftly on to Motorsport Studies for a further 2 years – I was hooked! Unfortunately this was right around the time of the recession so finding work in my dream industry was nigh on impossible so I had to find whatever work was available – labour work is tough!

I realised this life wasn’t for me and working for someone else had to stop. With that I decided to save up and get back to learning, I love the modification scene so why not train in customising vehicles, be my own boss and help others who share the same passion to customise their rides.

Where we are now

So here we are, after completing our training with a well known, reputable establishment in the midlands we started Black Art Customs SW.

We are fairly young in the industry but that doesn’t hinder our attitude to provide a professional and affordable service. You can also be assured that we only use the best products on your vehicle and treat it as if it were our own for the best possible result.
